The visionary behind the creation of the Expedited Processing Section Unit in the city of Los Angeles to expedite the approval of housing in the city.
Completed our first apartment community - A 32-unit garden style community named The Village, which we still own and operate today.
Designed and built a Project Playhouse, which was donated to raise money for veterans.
Our founder and Executive Chairman, Shawn Evenhaim, pioneers the Small Lot Subdivision Ordinance that was adopted by the City of Los Angeles, to allow for the development of more workforce housing.
Continued to grow and began building medium-sized track home communities.
Developed a school campus that was donated on behalf of our founder.
Ranked as one of the Best Places to Work by the San Fernando Business Journal.
Balaciano Group became the first developer in Los Angeles to build all It’s homes with a power solar system.
Continued to grow and began building large tract home communities.
Received the Los Angeles Builder of The Year Award.
As a donation on behalf of our team, Balaciano Group remodeled the Genesis Homeless Shelter for homeless mothers and their kids.
Donated a park to The City of Los Angeles
The Q Variel, the first Q community, opens marking the beginning of The Q Brand.
Donated a second park to The City of Los Angeles.
The Q Topanga, the second Q community, opens.
Balaciano Group acquires a 376-unit mixed-use apartment community for $231M and rebranded it as The Q Playa.
The Q De Soto, our largest mixed-used development, is scheduled to open.
